The crew follows Nami’s trail toward the island ruled by Arlong and begins to learn how dangerous her home is. This part builds the Arlong Park conflict by showing how Nami’s choices look contradictory from outside while Arlong’s power keeps the island trapped. ### Key dialogue Arlong: Sister Nami was definitely staring intently at Arlong's wanted poster. Arlong: And right after we said Arlong's crew was wreaking havoc again recently, Zoro: She took off with the treasure. Zoro: This is too much to be a coincidence. Zoro: I'm sure there's some conne... Arlong: How about this? Arlong: All you did was draw your previous fish standing upright. Nami: But I wonder just what Nami has to do with those fishermen? Nami: Could it be that she's a mermaid? That would explain her beauty... Arlong: ...like this? Arlong: You're Dead Meat! Arlong: Do you understand what I'm trying to say here!?
