One Piece Chapter 14, page 3: Chapter 14: RECKLESS

At the townspeople's refuge, a sign reads "THE REFUGE OF THE TOWNSPEOPLE." Suddenly, the dog Chouchou limps into the camp, heavily injured. The townspeople notice him, shouting, "WHAT'S THAT!?" and "HEY! IT'S CHOUCHOU FROM THE PET FOOD SHOP!" A man with short dark hair and glasses kneels down to tend to the dog, saying, "WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE OKAY, BOY! WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT YOU." Another man with slicked-back light hair and a plaid shirt remarks, "HE'S HURT BAD. CURSED PIRATES! LET'S TAKE CARE OF HIS WOUNDS." The crowd begins to murmur in worry, asking, "BUT WHERE'S THE MAYOR?" and "THAT'S RIGHT...! MAYOR BOODLE WENT TO FEED CHOUCHOU. WHAT'S CHOUCHOU DOING HERE WITHOUT HIM?"
