One Piece Chapter 8, page 12-14: Nami

Back in the present, Zoro is impressed by the story, thinking, "AMAZING. SHE USED THE WEATHER TO HER OWN ADVANTAGE. SHE MUST REALLY KNOW THE SEAS... SHE'D MAKE A GREAT NAVIGATOR..." The pirates complain, "JUST AWFUL, AIN'T IT!?...AND THAT'S THE WHOLE SAD STORY! WE THINK SHE'LL MAKE A GREAT CORPSE!" They worry about returning empty-handed to their captain, Buggy. Zoro asks, "WHO'S THIS BUGGY GUY ANYWAY?" The pirate leader replies in terror, "HAVEN'T YOU HEARD OF BUGGY THE CLOWN? HE ATE THE FRUIT OF THE DEVIL! ONLY THE MOST FEROCIOUS PIRATE IN THESE PARTS!" Zoro repeats in curiosity, "...THE FRUIT OF THE DEVIL?

A large, clown-themed pirate ship is docked at the harbor of a seemingly deserted town. The town's streets are empty, and a quiet, ominous atmosphere hangs over the area, accompanied by a dramatic "DA DUM" sound effect.

In the deserted town, the girl is running away from three angry Buggy Pirates. The pirates shout, "STOP, THIEF!! GIVE US BACK THAT MAP!" The girl clutches a rolled-up map tightly, thinking, "I FINALLY HAVE IT! A MAP OF THE GRAND LINE!!" Meanwhile, on a nearby rooftop, other pirates notice something strange in the sky and report to their captain: "CAP'N BUGGY! THERE'S SOMETHING ODD IN THE SKY!" Buggy orders, "SHOOT IT DOWN WITH THE CANNON!" High in the sky, Luffy is still trapped in the giant bird's beak, screaming as he flies over the town.
