One Piece Chapter 39, page 12-14: FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS

Zoro charges through the trees (SFX: TATA TATA). Usopp yells, "DAMN HYPNOTIST, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW...!!!" Jango is startled, realizing Zoro has caught up. Zoro calculates the distance, wondering if he can make it in time. Desperate, Jango raises his pendulum blade to Kaya's neck, shouting, "I SHOULD FINISH YOU OFF QUICKLY!" Kaya gasps, "UGH...!!" Just as Jango is about to strike, the three kids leap out of the bushes and tackle his legs, screaming, "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!" Jango is tripped up, crying out, "UGH! HUUAA!!

Jango is infuriated by the children clinging to his legs, shouting, "YOU DAMN BRATS!!!" He swings his pendulum blade wildly to slice them, causing the kids to scream in terror ("UWAAH"). Jango laughs maniacally, "HAHAHA! It's too late now, Hara-maki-kid!!!" Zoro continues to sprint forward, but the distance is still too great.

Zoro grins and slashes a thick tree branch blocking his path (SFX: CUT!! / SFX: PAN!). Jango is confused: "WHAT?!" Zoro calls out, "GOOD!! THAT TREE BRANCH WAS BLOCKING THE WAY." With the branch cleared, a perfect line of sight is opened for Usopp. Usopp, tears streaming down his face, pulls back his slingshot with all his might and roars, "EAT THIS, HYPNOTIST!!" Kaya and the kids look on with hope, crying out, "USOPP-SAN..." and "CAPTAAAAIN!!!
