The mention of the "Hawk-Eye" sends shockwaves through the restaurant. A large, muscular chef with round sunglasses and a wide mouth (unknown_002) yells out in shock, "H... HAWK-EYED MAN!?" while another chef with a striped beanie and sunglasses (unknown_003) looks on. Zeff explains, "BUT THE FACT THAT HE SUNK YOUR ENTIRE FLEET, IS MORE THAN ENOUGH PROOF THAT IT REALLY WAS HIM...! YOU SAYING THAT YOU WITNESSED A MAN, WHOSE GLARE WAS AS SHARP AS THAT OF A HAWK DOESN'T NECESSARILY PROVE IT WAS HIM." Usopp sweatdrops and stammers, "H... HAWK-EYED...!?" while Luffy simply asks, "WHO'S THAT?" and Usopp replies, "BEATS ME.

Zoro reveals his personal connection, stating, "HE'S THE MAN I'M SEARCHING FOR..." which surprises Luffy. Usopp recalls, "ACCORDING TO WHAT JOHNNY SAID..." but is interrupted by the other Baratie cooks who laugh and reminisce about a different person: "HAWK-EYED MAN, HUH... IF IT'S THE RED-EYED MAN, I REMEMBER HIM COMING TO THIS SHOP BEFORE." "RIGHT, YOU MEAN THAT GUY WHO GOT SO PISS-DRUNK FROM WINE THAT HIS EYES TURNED RED." "YEAH, THAT IDIOT WHO CAUGHT ON FIRE AND BLEW UP." "HEH HEH, THAT WAS QUITE A SIGHT." Zoro gets annoyed and yells, "THAT IDIOT GOT HIS INFORMATION MIXED UP! EVEN THAT 'HAWK-EYED MAN' YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR HAS BEEN SIGHTED THERE ONCE BEFORE." Luffy asks, "HM? WHAT ABOUT JOHNNY?" but Zoro dismisses it, saying, "NO, NEVER MIND.
