Back on the shore, Kaya stands looking out at the ocean as the ship fades into the distance. She whispers, "MERI..." Merry asks, "WHAT IS IT OJOU-SAMA?" Kaya sighs, "IT HURTS TO LIE DOESN'T IT..." Merry gently replies, "NO... YOU MEAN ABOUT CLAHADOR?" Kaya clarifies, "IS IT THAT... YOU ACTUALLY WANTED TO STOP USOPP-KUN...?" Merry smiles softly and says, "OJOUSAMA... I HEARD A STORY ABOUT HIM WHEN HE WAS YONGER, FROM THE VILLAGERS."
