In Syrup Village, three young boys run down a dirt path between houses. The boy with glasses, Tamanegi, shouts, "CAPTAIN BROUGHT THE PIRATES HERE!" The spiky-haired boy, Ninjin, asks, "HEY TAMANEGI! DID THE PIRATES REALLY GO INTO THIS SHOP?" The boy with the skullcap confirms, "YUP, I SAW THEM." They worry that real pirates are savages and might have eaten their captain, Usopp. They resolve to save him, declaring, "THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST DANGEROUS BATTLE SINCE WE STARTED THE 'USOPP PIRATE GROUP'!"
