The flashback continues on the grandfather's pirate ship. The crew is celebrating and arguing over their treasure: 'WE'RE GONNA SPLIT UP THIS VOYAGE'S BOOTY!!' 'AAAH, CAPTAIN, YOU'RE TAKING TOO MUCH.' 'DON'T BE SILLY!! IT'S BECAUSE OF ME THAT WE DIDN'T GET LOST ON THAT ISLAND!!' 'I'M THE ONE WHO FOUND THE TREASURE.' 'I HAD THE MOST BATTLE FEATS.' The grandfather easily knocks out a crewmate with a single punch, laughing, '100 YEARS TOO EARLY. FIGHT FOR IT!!!' The crew cheers, 'CAPTAIN WINS!!' Young Luffy smiles, watching them. Later, the grandfather presents a strange, swirly fruit to Luffy: 'HEY LUFFY!! LOOK AT THIS!! IT'S THE "GOMU GOMU" FRUIT!!!! THE ENEMY SHIP HAPPENED TO HAVE IT!! IT'S A DREAM FRUIT WORTH FIVE BILLION BERIES IF YOU SELL IT, AND...' He stops in horror as he realizes young Luffy is already chewing on it. Luffy makes a face: 'NASTY.' The grandfather screams, 'DON'T EAT IT!!!!'
