One Piece Chapter 37, page 14-18: Kuro, the Pirate with 100 Plans

Kuro confronts a surviving Marine officer with a broken jaw. Impressed by his defiance, Kuro decides to use him, promising to reward him with the head of "Captain Kuro.

Jango uses his hypnosis to make a captured crew double believe he is Captain Kuro, and hypnotizes the Marine officer to believe he captured Kuro. Kuro explains this fake execution allowed him to disappear.

Back in the present, Kuro declares that his three-year plan cannot fail and he won't let Luffy disrupt it. Luffy gets furious and prepares to strike back.

Luffy stretches his neck back and delivers a massive headbutt, shattering Kuro's cat claws. Kuro screams in pain as his weapons break.

The Usopp Pirates cheer as Kuro's claws shatter. Luffy stands triumphantly, declaring, "My dreams are far greater than your plans!!!...Then how can you be a pirate?!
