One Piece Chapter 12, page 7-8: Chapter 12: DOG

Luffy is delighted to see Nami, shouting, 'Hey! It's our navigator!' Nami quickly retorts, 'I never agreed to that! I just wanted to thank you for saving me...' Zoro, still lying on the ground, mutters, 'Thank us?' Nami then tosses a key onto the ground with a 'TINK'. Luffy gasps in realization, 'The key!!!' Zoro sits up, amazed: 'You stole the key to the cage!' Luffy laughs joyfully, 'This is great! I thought I'd never get out of here!' Zoro smiles, saying, 'Then the rescue... was a success... after all!' Nami sighs, 'Hmph. Yeah, sure... I got the stupid key, but I left the map and all the treasure.

Before anyone can grab the key, Chouchou walks over, sniffs it, and swallows it whole with a 'CHONK'. Luffy, Zoro, and Nami stare in absolute shock and disbelief. Luffy grabs the dog and begins shaking him violently, screaming, 'Cough it up!! That's not food!! Gimme that key!!' The dog whimpers, 'Yipe yipe!', while Luffy continues to yell, 'Dumb dog!' and shakes him as the cage rattles with a 'KLANG KLANG'.
