    Zoro stands tall, raising his swords as he pants, "Roronoa Zoro." Mihawk smiles with respect and reaches for the massive hilt on his back. He declares, "I shall remember it, and to pay my respect to you as a fellow swordsman, I shall end this duel with my Black Sword, the world's strongest sword. For your strength is not often seen in this world." A translator's note at the top of the panel explains: "tl note: black sword is kokutou in japanese.

    The chefs on the Baratie watch in awe, shouting, "He unsheathed it! That sword he used to cut our ship with!" Zoro prepares for the final clash, spinning his swords rapidly, thinking, "So this is it... the final blow... If I miss here, I'll die... To be the world's strongest... or to die here and now...!" Mihawk charges, shouting, "Die!" Luffy screams in panic, "Bro, that's enough! Stop!" Zoro prepares his ultimate technique: "SANTOURYUU OUGI!" (Three swords style secret).
