One Piece Chapter 23, page 13: Captain Usopp Enters

Panicking, the three kids flee into the woods, screaming, "WAAAA..! WE'VE BEEN FOUND!!" Usopp tries to stop them, yelling, "HEY! YOU... DON'T RUN AWAY!!" but they leave him behind. Luffy, Zoro, and Nami watch blankly as the kids run off. Left alone, Usopp decides to put on a brave face. He stands tall on the cliff, crossing his arms proudly, and bellows, "I AM THE GREAT PIRATE FLEET LEADER, USOPP, WHO IS IN CHARGE OF THE SECURITY OF THIS VILLAGE! I'M ALSO KNOWN AS 'CAPTAIN', 'CAPTAIN USOPP'!"
