Nami realizes with disgust that Buggy used his own crew members as shields to survive the blast. Buggy, trembling with rage, mutters, 'I'm so mad, I can't even speak...' Cabaji, riding his unicycle, adds that this is the worst disgrace their crew has ever suffered.

Mohji regains consciousness and is shocked to see Cabaji stepping on Richie. Cabaji coldly explains he used the lion as a shield to keep his clothes clean. Furious, Mohji confronts him, while Richie whimpers in pain.

Mohji urgently warns Buggy that Luffy is a rubber man who ate a Devil Fruit, explaining why the Buggy Ball bounced off him. Buggy is shocked to hear this and angrily demands to know why Mohji didn't tell him sooner, while Luffy playfully demonstrates his stretchy cheeks to Nami.
