One Piece Chapter 21, page 12-14: VILLAGE

Zoro, looking incredibly angry and intimidating, glares at the three pirates, muttering, "HUH!?" In the next panel, the three pirates are suddenly kicked high into the air, screaming in terror, "!!!!?" They fly off the dock and splash into the sea, yelling, "AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" while Zoro stands calmly on the boat.

Back in the village, Mayor Boodle slowly wakes up, rubbing his head. The villagers gather around him, saying, "AAH! CHIEF, YOU'RE AWAKE! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE ALRIGHT!! JUST WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED, CHIEF?!" Boodle groans, "YEAH..." The villagers explain, "WHEN WE CAME IT WAS ALREADY LIKE THIS. DID YOU SEE ANYTHING?" Boodle looks thoughtful, remembering Luffy, and mutters, "THOSE KIDS..." Another villager with glasses says, "AH! UNTIL JUST A WHILE AGO THESE THREE WEIRD GUYS WERE... WERE THOSE KIDS STILL ALIVE...!!?

The villagers complain about Luffy and his crew, saying, "...THAT IDIOT!!! DOING SUCH A RUDE THING TO AN OLD GUY LIKE ME! HOW DARE HE!! DON'T WORRY. WE CHASED THOSE IDIOTS AWAY. BUT I'M STILL PRETTY MAD. IT WAS LIKE THEY WERE LAUGHING AT US!! THOSE KIDS DON'T KNOW HOW MAD WE ARE ABOUT THE DAMAGE DONE TO OUR VILLAGE." Suddenly, Boodle stands up and screams at the top of his lungs, "SHUT UP!!" The villagers gasp in shock. Boodle continues furiously, "ONLY ONE PERSON HAS THE RIGHT TO BE MAD AT THOSE KIDS... ONLY ME! I WON'T FORGIVE ANYONE WHO SAYS ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THOSE KIDS OTHER THAN ME!!!" The villagers are left bewildered, asking, "WHY ARE YOU SIDING WITH THOSE PIRATES CHIEF!!? ARE THOSE KIDS JUST GONNA DISAPPEAR NOW!?
