One Piece Chapter 8.3, page 15-16: Nami Enters

Nami runs through the empty streets of the town, clutching a rolled-up map. She thinks to herself, "I FINALLY HAVE IT! THE NAVIGATION CHART TO THE GRAND LINE!!" Behind her, several of Buggy's subordinates are in hot pursuit, shouting, "STOP! YOU CAN'T RUN FROM US!! THIEF!! GIVE BACK OUR NAVIGATION MAP!! DAMN! IF WE DON'T GET THAT MAP BACK, WE'RE DEAD! IF WE LET THE CAPTAIN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, WE'RE GONNA HAVE AN UGLY DEATH!" Meanwhile, on a nearby roof, a pirate reports, "REPORTING IN! CAPTAIN BUGGY, THERE'S AN UNKNOWN FLYING OBJECT IN THE AIR!!" Buggy's voice orders, "USE THE CANNON AND SHOOT IT DOWN!" and the subordinate replies, "AYE CAPTAIN!" as screaming is heard from the sky.

A loud cannon blast echoes through the town. Nami continues running, but suddenly looks up in surprise as something whistles through the air. With a massive crash, a figure plummets from the sky and slams directly into the street right in front of her, kicking up a huge cloud of dust. The chasing pirates stop in their tracks, shocked, muttering, "SOME ONE... FELL FROM THE SKY?!" Nami stares at the impact site, bewildered, thinking, "WHAT...? WHY DID THEY SHOOT ME WITH THE CANNON?" As the smoke begins to clear, a voice groans, "DAMN IT...
