One Piece Chapter 13, page 3: Chapter 13: TREASURE

With a swift swipe of his massive paw, Richie bats Chouchou aside, sending the small dog crashing to the ground with a painful yelp. Despite the blow, Chouchou struggles back to his feet, growling and barking. The scene transitions into a flashback of Chouchou's beloved master, Hocker, standing proudly in front of the newly completed pet food shop. Hocker joyfully tells the dog, 'LOOK, CHOUCHOU! THE STORE'S ALL FINISHED! YOU AND ME WILL MAKE IT PROSPER TOGETHER!'
