One Piece Chapter 6, page 6-8: Chapter 6: Number One

Luffy beams with a massive grin, completely unfazed by Zoro's threat. He replies, "THE WORLD'S GREATEST SWORDSMAN, THAT'S GREAT! AND IT'S FITTING SINCE YOUR NEW BOSS IS GOING TO BE THE KING OF THE PIRATES! ANYTHING ELSE WOULD MAKE ME LOOK BAD!" Zoro can only smirk and mutter, "HMPH! YOU TALK BIG..." Meanwhile, Captain Morgan loses his patience and screams at his hesitant troops, "WHY DO YOU HESITATE!? HACK THOSE BRIGANDS INTO MINCE-MEAT! NOW!!" Sensing the incoming attack, Luffy prepares his own move, shouting, "GUM-GUM..." and warning his new partner, "ZOLO, DUCK!!

With a powerful "WHIP!!!!" sound effect, Luffy unleashes his Gum-Gum Whip attack. He stretches his leg out to an incredible length, sweeping it in a wide arc across the courtyard. Zoro ducks down just in time as Luffy's leg sails over him, striking the charging Marines and knocking them off their feet.

Luffy's sweeping leg connects solidly with the Marines, sending them flying through the air in all directions. The sheer force of the impact is emphasized by a massive "!!!!" sound effect as the soldiers are completely overwhelmed by the rubber man's attack.
