One Piece Chapter 1.2, page 5-6: Romance Dawn (Version 2)

On the deck of the pirate ship, a young woman named Anne, wearing a striped shirt and a dark skirt, angrily confronts Luffy. A text box introduces her: 'NAME: ANNE'. She yells, 'HOW DARE YOU? WHY'D YOU BRING BALLOON!?' Luffy, sitting casually on the deck, blinks: 'BAL-LOON?' Anne continues to fume, pointing accusingly: 'HE GOT CAUGHT BY THEM BECAUSE OF YOU!! YOU WERE HOLDING HIM DOWN RIGHT!? I WAS WATCHING!!' Luffy points to the caged bird behind them: 'BALLOON? OH, THAT PANDA?' Anne snaps back, 'HE'S NOT A PANDA!!' Luffy calmly replies, 'HE WAS HURT.

Anne explains the situation to Luffy, her expression softening slightly. 'THAT'S 'CAUSE HE WAS SHOT BY "SIX-SIDED SPIEL"!!' Luffy asks, 'SPIEL?' Anne replies, 'HE'S THE CAPTAIN OF THIS PIRATE SHIP.' Luffy is surprised: 'THIS IS A PIRATE SHIP!? REALLY!?' Anne confirms, 'THAT'S RIGHT, AN UNKNOWN PIRATE'S. THIS BOAT'S CAPTAIN IS A BLACK MAGIC USER.' Luffy repeats, 'BLACK MAGIC?' Anne recounts the raid on her home: 'UNTIL HE RAIDED OUR VILLAGE! EVEN MY TOWNSPEOPLE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT SPIEL THE PIRATE. ALL THE TOWNSPEOPLE TRIED TO RAISE ARMS AND FIGHT HIM, BUT THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET CLOSE TO HIM.' Suddenly, a pirate shouts, 'THE CAPTAIN HAS ARRIVED!!!', interrupting their conversation.
