Usopp continues explaining his reasoning: "BESIDES WHAT HAS HAPPENED TODAY... I THINK PIRATES WOULDN'T BE INTERESTED IN A SMALL VILLAGE LIKE THIS... AND THE VILLAGERS WOULD BE ABLE TO CONTINUE LIVING THEIR LIVES PEACEFULLY. SO, LET'S JUST SAY NOTHING HAPPENED". The kids look down, deeply moved and tearful. Kaya softly says, "USOPP-SAN..." and Usopp adds, "NOTHING HAPPENED, IT WAS ALL A LIE. I WON'T FORCE IT ON YOU GUYS, BUT..." The kids wipe their tears and salute, crying, "NO, I CAN DO THAT!! IF THAT'S WHAT'S BEST FOR THIS VILLAGE!! SAME HERE!! ME TOO!! I WON'T TELL A SOUL!!

Usopp looks at Kaya and asks, "KAYA, IS IT GOING TO BE HARD FOR YOU...?" Kaya smiles warmly and reassures him, "NO!" The scene transitions to the next morning in Syrup Village, with birds chirping in the trees. Inside a house, a man with a mustache and a woman are sitting at a table. The man looks at the clock and gasps, "MY GOSH, YOU'RE RIGHT! HEY!! IT'S ALREADY 7 O'CLOCK!!" The woman says, "I OVERSLEPT!! THAT'S STRANGE, USOPP-KUN DIDN'T COME TODAY". Outside, another woman wonders, "I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO USOPP-KUN", and a man smoking a pipe comments, "FEELS WEIRD... THROWS MY WHOLE SCHEDULE OFF".
