One Piece Chapter 39, page 14-15: FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS

Zoro grins and slashes a thick tree branch blocking his path (SFX: CUT!! / SFX: PAN!). Jango is confused: "WHAT?!" Zoro calls out, "GOOD!! THAT TREE BRANCH WAS BLOCKING THE WAY." With the branch cleared, a perfect line of sight is opened for Usopp. Usopp, tears streaming down his face, pulls back his slingshot with all his might and roars, "EAT THIS, HYPNOTIST!!" Kaya and the kids look on with hope, crying out, "USOPP-SAN..." and "CAPTAAAAIN!!!

Back on the slope, Kuro struggles violently in Luffy's grip, screaming, "DAMN!! LET ME GO!!!" Luffy replies coldly, "Now your three year plan will fail." Kuro snaps back, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!" The watching Black Cat Pirates realize Kuro is trapped and start cheering for Luffy: "Wait a minute... If he wins, then we won't be killed...!! THAT'S GREAT, RUBBER MAN!! KILL CAPTAIN KURO...!!" Luffy gets angry at their selfishness ("HEAH!"). He pulls his head far back, stretching his neck to extreme lengths (SFX: GO-N!!, SFX: GUGUGU...). Kuro is left horrified, gasping, "GUH!
