Krieg is a massive man wearing heavy golden armor and a thick fur coat, but he is visibly emaciated, sweating, and panting heavily. The cooks are stunned to see the legendary pirate in such a pathetic state, whispering, "Wha... The heck? That weak, worn-out looking guy is Krieg?" Luffy observes, "He looks like he's starving," while Sanji wonders what could have happened to him. Suddenly, Krieg collapses face-first onto the floor. Gin drops to his knees beside him, desperately begging the cooks, "Please save my captain! I'm begging you! Please give him some food and water! He'll die at this rate!

Patty bursts into a cruel laugh, shouting, "Ahahaha! Perfect, just perfect! So this is what the infamous outlaw Don Krieg looks like!? This is the perfect chance for the government to arrest him! Hey! Contact the Marines immediately!" Gin desperately tries to argue, "We have money this time! We're paying customers!" but Patty refuses, yelling, "Don't let him have a single morsel of food!" A middle-aged customer with glasses and a mustache speaks up in agreement, saying, "That's right! Who knows what he'll do once he gets back on his feet! This is retribution for all the crimes he's committed! It's only right that he should die after all he's done! If we give him food and he recovers, it's only obvious that he'll attack our restaurant!" Patty firmly declares, "I ain't giving him a single drop of water!
