Usopp stands before the Straw Hat crew, trembling with fear but trying to understand their motives. He asks, "YOU GUYS... ARE WILLING TO FIGHT WITH ME?! WHY...?" Luffy responds with a grin, "BECAUSE THE ENEMIES OUTNUMBER YOU!" Zoro points out Usopp's obvious terror, saying, "YOU HAVE THE WORDS 'I'M SCARED' WRITTEN ALL OVER YOUR FACE." Despite his shaking knees, Usopp tries to put on a brave front, shouting, "IDIOTS! ME? SCARED? SO WHAT IF THEY OUTNUMBER ME!? THEY CAN'T COMPETE WITH ME! I'M CAPTAIN USOPP! IN MY VEINS FLOWS THE BLOOD OF A COURAGEOUS WARRIOR!
