    As the skinny cat-eared pirate tries to walk past, Usopp grabs him by the leg, refusing to let go. The pirate is annoyed and tries to shake him off, but Usopp holds on with all his might, bleeding but determined. Usopp declares that he will never let them go because he wants the village to remain peaceful and wants the villagers to believe his warnings were just lies.

    The skinny cat-eared pirate raises his clawed hand to strike Usopp down, but Nami steps in and blocks the attack with her staff. She fights back fiercely, swinging her staff to defend Usopp. The pirate is surprised by her resistance, grunting "Damn girl!".

    Nami is knocked back, crying out in pain. The skinny cat-eared pirate prepares to finish them both off. However, Jango watches from below and angrily commands them to stop wasting time and just go attack the village, reminding them of Captain Kuro's plan.

    Jango screams at his crew, warning them that Kuro will kill them all if they mess up the plan. Terrified of Kuro, the pirates, including a large, heavy-set cat-eared pirate and the skinny one, charge forward up the slope. Usopp, still on the ground, weakly tries to stop them.
