One Piece Chapter 29, page 17-20: Slopes

Jango screams at his crew, warning them that Kuro will kill them all if they mess up the plan. Terrified of Kuro, the pirates, including a large, heavy-set cat-eared pirate and the skinny one, charge forward up the slope. Usopp, still on the ground, weakly tries to stop them.

Usopp desperately grabs the leg of the large cat-eared pirate to stop him. The large pirate kicks Usopp away brutally, calling him annoying. Usopp is sent flying through the air, crying out and begging them not to kill the villagers. Nami watches in horror.

Suddenly, a massive crash echoes as the charging pirates are sent flying backward down the slope, screaming. Usopp, Nami, and Jango look on in utter shock. The pirates at the bottom of the slope are terrified, stammering that they didn't know the village had people like this.

Standing triumphantly at the top of the slope are Luffy and Zoro. Zoro is furious at Nami for kicking him down the well/slope earlier, while Luffy is yelling at Usopp for not telling him which way north was. Jango and his pirates stare at them in confusion, wondering who these powerful newcomers are.
