One Piece Chapter 1.1, page 38-40: Romance Dawn (Version 1)

Standing on the edge of the tower, Luffy stretches his arms incredibly far across the sky toward the pirate ship. His hands fly through the air with a loud stretching sound. He grunts, "MUN!!". His hands successfully reach the ship and grab onto the main mast. Luffy grins widely, shouting, "SHOOT!!!!" as he prepares to launch himself.

Luffy launches himself from the tower like a giant slingshot, flying high speed through the air. Back on the beach, Shiruku and the headman watch in amazement, shouting, "HE FLEW!!!" and "GYARI!!!" and "WAIT FOR ME!!!!". As Luffy approaches the ship, he inhales deeply, inflating his body into a giant balloon to slow down: "HAPU" and "DECELERATION". He lands heavily on the ship's deck with a loud crash.

Luffy lands on the deck of the pirate ship, causing it to shake. Gyari and his crew stagger, startled: "UOH!? WHAT!!?" and "CAPTAIN...!!" and "WHAT IS IT!!". Luffy stands proudly on the railing, crossing his arms. Gyari screams in shock, "GEH!!!". Luffy grins confidently and replies, "IT'S NOT GEH. MY NAME'S LUFFY."
