At the Marine base, soldiers are carefully raising a giant statue of Captain Morgan. Helmeppo complains loudly to his father, demanding to know why he isn't hunting down the "brigand" who hit him, boasting that even his father has never laid a hand on his face. Morgan asks if Helmeppo knows why he's never hit him. Before Helmeppo can finish saying "because I'm your beloved son," Morgan brutally punches him, declaring, "It's because you're an idiot son who's not even worth hitting!!

Morgan mentions he heard a "little mouse" snuck into the parade ground. Helmeppo admits he "dealt" with her, and Morgan assumes she was killed. When Helmeppo stammers that she was just a little girl, Morgan coldly orders Lieutenant Rokkaku to find and execute her, declaring, "Child or not, anyone who defies me must suffer the penalty!" Rokkaku bravely refuses to obey such a cruel order. Morgan menacingly reminds him of their ranks, asking, "And I-- a Captain-- am your superior officer, am I not?
