Kaya resolves to face the danger, telling Merry, "I UNDERSTAND. I WONT RUN AWAY! I'M GOING TO GO TALK TO CLAHADOR RIGHT NOW!" Merry asks with concern, "CAN YOU DO IT? EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO..." to which she replies, "I KNOW!" Meanwhile, in the village, Ninjin and his two friends (one wearing a black skull cap and glasses, the other with a bowl-cut hat and a skull t-shirt) are talking. One of them wakes Ninjin up, saying, "HEY NINJIN! WAKE UP!" Ninjin groans, "BUT NORMALLY I'M SLEEPING THIS TIME OF DAY..." The other warns, "NOW ISN'T THE TIME TO SLEEP. SOMETHING AWFUL MIGHT BE ABOUT TO HAPPEN. EH? THAT BUTLER WENT TO THE SHORE?"
