One Piece Chapter 8.3, page 13-15: Nami Enters

Back in the present, the pirates finish their story, saying, "AND THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED... TERRIBLE, HUHH?!" Zoro is impressed, thinking, "SHE CAN PREDICT THE WEATHER... THIS GIRL MUST BE SOMETHING SPECIAL! WONDER IF SHE'D JOIN US..." The pirates are furious, muttering, "IF I FIND HER, I'M GONNA KILL HER! FIRST WE GOT TO GET OUR LOOT BACK! YEA... IF WE GO BACK EMPTY-HANDED, BUGGY-SAMA WILL..." Zoro asks, "WHO'S BUGGY?" The lead pirate looks shocked and explains, "HE'S OUR PIRATE LEADER, HAVEN'T YOU EVER HEARD OF 'BUGGY THE CLOWN'? HE'S A DANGEROUS MAN WHO ATE ONE OF THE 'DEVIL'S FRUIT'" Zoro repeats curiously, "ATE A DEVIL FRUIT...?

A large, colorful pirate ship with a clown-themed figurehead is docked at the harbor of a town. The town streets are completely deserted and silent, with a whale-shaped fountain standing quietly in the middle of an empty plaza.

Nami runs through the empty streets of the town, clutching a rolled-up map. She thinks to herself, "I FINALLY HAVE IT! THE NAVIGATION CHART TO THE GRAND LINE!!" Behind her, several of Buggy's subordinates are in hot pursuit, shouting, "STOP! YOU CAN'T RUN FROM US!! THIEF!! GIVE BACK OUR NAVIGATION MAP!! DAMN! IF WE DON'T GET THAT MAP BACK, WE'RE DEAD! IF WE LET THE CAPTAIN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, WE'RE GONNA HAVE AN UGLY DEATH!" Meanwhile, on a nearby roof, a pirate reports, "REPORTING IN! CAPTAIN BUGGY, THERE'S AN UNKNOWN FLYING OBJECT IN THE AIR!!" Buggy's voice orders, "USE THE CANNON AND SHOOT IT DOWN!" and the subordinate replies, "AYE CAPTAIN!" as screaming is heard from the sky.
