One Piece Chapter 2.3, page 7-8: That Boy "The Straw Hat Wearing Luffy"

Coby walks toward a storage shed on the island, muttering, ".......... ON MY WAY..." Inside the shed, he rolls a large wooden barrel. Three of Alvida's pirates—Heppoko, Peppoko, and Poppoko—confront him. Heppoko asks, "WHAT? YOU'RE SAYING THAT BARREL OF SAKE GOT WASHED UP ON SHORE, COBY?" Coby replies, "YE...YES. THERE SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING INSIDE IT. WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH IT..." Peppoko eagerly says, "GREAT! LET'S ALL DRINK TOGETHER!!!" Poppoko worries, "BUT! IF THE CAPTAIN FINDS OUT, WE'LL BE.." Peppoko reassures him, "SHE WON'T FIND OUT!! WE'RE THE ONLY ONES CLEANING THE WINE CELLAR, SO ONLY US. AND STUPID COBY WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS." Poppoko agrees, "YOU'RE RIGHT." They glare at Coby, saying, "YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO, RIGHT?! COBY..." Coby nervously waves his hands, pleading, "OF...OF COURSE! I...I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING! EH HEHEHE...! S...SO PLEASE DON'T BEAT ME...

Just as the pirates are standing around the barrel, it suddenly explodes outward. Monkey D. Luffy bursts out of the barrel, stretching his arms wide and shouting at the top of his lungs, "WHAT A NICE NAP THAT WAS!!!" The pirates and Coby scream in absolute terror and shock, "WHAT THE HELL?!! AHHHHHH!!!!" Luffy laughs happily amidst the flying wooden shards, saying, "I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE TOO!! HAHAHAHAHA!! LOOKS LIKE I'M SAVED.
