One Piece Chapter 36, page 8-9: HUNTED!!

Back at the coastal slope, Usopp hears the distant rumbling and turns his head in alarm, sweating profusely. He gasps, "WHAT WAS THAT NOISE...?!!" Captain Kuro stands calmly with his back to the sea, explaining coldly, "WELL, THAT'S PROBABLY JUST JANGO LOSING HIS TEMPER. YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF, BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY BE TOO LATE... CAN YOU?" Zoro, standing nearby with his swords drawn, says, "WE'D BETTER HURRY." Kuro looks back at them with a smug expression, while Usopp grits his teeth in frustration, muttering, "DAMN....!!!

Usopp confronts Kuro, shouting, "YOU TWO HAVE STAYED TOGETHER FOR THREE YEARS! DON'T YOU HAVE ANY FEELINGS FOR HER?!!" Kuro replies with absolute indifference, "NO. AS I'VE SAID BEFORE, KAYA IS JUST A PAWN IN MY PLAN. AND IF SHE DIES, I MIGHT ACTUALLY THANK HER..." Luffy, standing nearby, gets angry and says, "I NEVER THOUGHT OF SAVING HIM!!" Zoro agrees, "THIS GUY'S BEYOND SAVING!" Kuro notices Zoro's movement and remarks, "OH, YOU CAN STILL MOVE. IMPRESSIVE." Usopp, despite his severe injuries, desperately tries to crawl forward, crying, "I CAN'T LET YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! MUST GO AND SAVE THEM! OTHERWISE, THEY'LL ALL BE KILLED!! THERE'S NOT A SECOND TO LOSE...!!!" Behind them, the hypnotized Buchi prepares to strike.
