One Piece Chapter 36, page 17-19: HUNTED!!

Usopp, riding on Zoro's back, weakly says, "S... SORRY. BUT WE'RE GOING INTO THE WOODS... AND IF YOU DON'T GUIDE ME, I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND THEM." Zoro replies, "IT WOULD ACTUALLY BE FASTER IF I GO ALONE." As Zoro starts to run, Kuro steps forward to block their path, his long claw-blades glinting. Kuro demands, "HEY, YOU! WHO SAID YOU COULD GET THROUGH ME?" Suddenly, Luffy leaps in front of Kuro, blocking him with a fierce grin and shouting, "I DID!!!

Luffy throws a powerful punch at Kuro to keep him occupied, shouting, "GO, ZORRO!! GO, USOPP!!!" Zoro runs past them into the forest with Usopp on his back (SFX: TAP TAP). Kuro easily dodges Luffy's fist with incredible speed. Luffy immediately follows up, stretching his arm back and yelling, "ANOTHER PUNCH!!" Kuro's eyes widen slightly in surprise as Luffy's stretched fist flies toward him.

Luffy's punch misses as Kuro suddenly vanishes from sight. Luffy looks around in confusion, gasping, "HE DISAPPEARED?!" With a faint metallic sound (SFX: CHARI...), Kuro suddenly reappears right beside Luffy, swinging his long claw-blades. Luffy barely reacts in time, shouting "UWOAH!!!" as he bends his body backward to narrowly dodge the deadly slash that cuts through the air.
