Anne begins to cry, tears streaming down her face. 'THAT'S WHY I WAS KIDNAPPED. AS LONG AS I'M HERE, BALLOON WILL KEEP COMING BACK HERE...!!! I WISH HE WEREN'T MAGICAL OR RARE!!! EVEN IF HE WEREN'T SPECIAL, HE'D STILL BE MY BEST FRIEND!!!' Luffy looks at her crying, then flashes a confident, determined grin: 'DON'T GIVE UP. HE'S YOUR TREASURE, RIGHT?

Luffy grabs a rope attached to the sinking mast and begins spinning himself around it, winding his body up like a giant rubber band. Anne watches in bewilderment: '...!! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!?' Luffy yells, 'FLY!!!!' He releases his grip, untwisting violently and launching himself high into the sky like a rocket.

High in the clouds, Spiel rides on Balloon's back, laughing triumphantly: 'AH HA HA HA HA, I'M SO GREAT! I KNOW HOW TO MAKE AN EXIT!' Balloon cries out sadly, 'GWA-RAH'. Spiel continues, 'EVEN IF I FIGHT A MONSTER LIKE THAT, IT WON'T DO ME ANY GOOD. ALL I NEED IS THE ROC'S BLOOD.' Suddenly, a shadow falls over them as Luffy descends from above.
