Sanji points out, "But you still have mushrooms left! Finish it!" Usopp defends himself, saying, "I left them on purpose because I hate mushrooms. I was poisoned by one when I was a kid." Sanji glares, saying, "Well this one ain't poisoned so eat up, long-nose!" Nami intervenes, saying, "Please don't fight just because of me." Sanji instantly melts, saying, "Anything for you, miss!" while Usopp yells, "Just who the hell's fighting for you!?" Nami then mentions, "By the way, Mr. Cook. The food here's just a tad too expensive for me." Sanji immediately offers, "Then it shall be free of charge to you, miss!" Nami beams, "Thank you so much!" while Usopp is left shocked as Sanji points at him and says, "You're paying though!" That's utterly impossible for him! Letting a demon like him starve to death, is for the good of this world!!" Just as Patty finishes his warning, Don Krieg, now fully re-energized by the meal, suddenly strikes Sanji with a brutal backhand blow. The impact sends Sanji flying backward across the restaurant floor. Gin screams in horror, "Sanji!" while Luffy, the cooks, and the customers watch in absolute shock at the immediate betrayal. Gin is devastated and confronts his captain, crying, "D-Don Krieg! This is different from what you promised! I guided you here because you promised not to harm this restaurant! Not only that, that man is our saviour!" In response, Krieg brutally grabs Gin by the head, crushing him as Gin screams in pain. Krieg stands tall, completely restored to his full strength, and says, "Ahh, that was a great meal. I feel like I'm back to my normal self again..." Luffy yells Gin's name in anger. Sanji, wiping blood from his mouth, notes grimly, "So he reveals his fangs at last..." Krieg looks around the Baratie and declares coldly, "Nice restaurant you've got here. I'll take it."
