Makino runs through the village and bursts into the mayor's house: "Mayor! We've got a problem! It's Luffy... and the mountain bandits!" Meanwhile, in the village square, Higuma has dragged Luffy outside. Higuma holds Luffy up, amused: "You've got a strange body, boy. Our punches and kicks aren't hurting you at all." The villagers watch from a distance, terrified: "Hey! We gotta go help Luffy!" "Are you crazy? Those mountain bandits would kill us! Besides, Luffy's the one that started the fight!"
