Usopp walks away, declaring he will never return. His young followers angrily defend him, shouting insults at Klahadore. Luffy joins in the shouting, prompting Zoro to ask why he is screaming with them. Klahadore angrily orders everyone to leave the property immediately.

Kaya lies in bed coughing, refusing to eat her lunch. Klahadore enters her room with a tray, gently urging her to eat for her health, explaining that the chef worked hard to prepare a meal suited for her condition.

Kaya reproaches Klahadore for his harsh treatment of Usopp. Klahadore asks to sit down and begins reflecting on his past, mentioning that he has been in the household for three years and can never forget the day he arrived.

Klahadore tells Kaya how her late parents saved him three years ago after he was fired from a ship and left wandering. He expresses deep gratitude, calling them his saviors, and acknowledges that interfering in her friendships is technically not his business.
