One Piece Chapter 25, page 7-10: 800 LIES

Klahadore tells Kaya how her late parents saved him three years ago after he was fired from a ship and left wandering. He expresses deep gratitude, calling them his saviors, and acknowledges that interfering in her friendships is technically not his business.

Klahadore explains that his extreme reaction was out of concern for her safety due to Usopp's bad reputation. Kaya assures him she does not hate him but insists Usopp is a good person. Klahadore dismisses her defense and walks away, leaving her frustrated.

Zoro, Nami, and Usopp's young crew sit on a fence, wondering where Luffy and Usopp went. The kids explain that Usopp always goes to the shore when something happens, and they note that Tamanegi has suddenly disappeared as he often does.

Tamanegi runs up screaming that he saw a strange man walking backwards. The others are skeptical, but he insists it is true. In the distance, a mysterious man in a black coat and top hat is indeed seen walking backwards down the road.
