Mihawk reassures the struggling Luffy, saying, "FEAR NOT. THAT MAN IS STILL ALIVE." Luffy looks up in shock and relief. Nearby, Johnny and Yosaku pull Zoro's bleeding body out of the water and onto their small boat, desperately crying, "BRO! ANSWER US, BRO!" and "ZORO!?". Luffy quickly turns and yells to them, "ZORO! HURRY UP AND GET HIM ON THE BOAT!".

Mihawk stands tall and addresses the unconscious Zoro with deep respect: "I AM DRACULE MIHAWK! IT IS MUCH TOO EARLY FOR YOU TO DIE. KNOW THY SELF! KNOW THY WORLD! AND BECOME STRONG, RORONOA!". On the boat, Johnny and Yosaku frantically apply medicine to Zoro's severe chest wound, shouting, "HURRY! APPLY THE MEDICINE ON HIS WOUNDS!".

Mihawk continues his powerful declaration, his voice echoing across the water: "NO MATTER HOW MANY MONTHS OR YEARS PASS BY, I SHALL STAND HERE AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD AND WAIT FOR YOU! SO FORGE ON AHEAD WITH THAT FIERCE CONVICTION AND TRY TO SURPASS MY SWORD! SURPASS ME, RORONOA!". Luffy listens silently, deeply moved by the warlord's words.
