One Piece Chapter 27, page 25: The Plot

This is the SBS Corner (Questions and Answers Corner) from Volume 4. Eiichiro Oda introduces the corner and answers several fan questions. He reveals the ages of the main characters: Luffy is 17, Zoro is 19, Nami is 18, Usopp is 17, and Shanks was 27 years old ten years ago in Luffy's village. He also answers a question about why all of Luffy's enemies are weirdos, explaining that their weirdness makes them more mysterious and cool. Finally, he jokingly addresses a rumor from Weekly Jump about whether his own arms and legs can stretch.
