Meanwhile, Luffy is happily pushing a small rowboat loaded with barrels of food along the deck: 'FOUND IT, FOUND IT, A NICE BOAT! ON TOP OF THAT, I FOUND FOOD, TOO!' On another part of the deck, Anne has successfully knocked out a pirate guard. She stands over him with a sword, demanding, 'LET BALLOON GO AS YOU PROMISED! YOU LOOKED DOWN ON ME 'CAUSE I'M A GIRL, DIDN'T YOU?

Spiel appears and points a finger at the defeated guard, muttering, 'SCUM... LOSING TO A LITTLE GIRL...' Suddenly, the guard bursts into flames, screaming, 'HOOOT!!!' Anne recoils in horror: 'AH!!!' Spiel's crew watches in terror. Spiel turns to Anne and says, 'YOU WIN. YOU CAN LET HIM GO.' He tosses her the key. Anne is thrilled: 'YEAH! BALLOON! I'LL LET YOU OUT NOW!!' She catches the key and runs to the cage.

Just as Anne unlocks the cage, Spiel aims his pistol and shoots her in the back: 'PUPUH!' Anne is struck and falls to the deck, crying out, 'GWAAAH!!' Balloon screeches in panic. Spiel laughs maniacally, 'AH HA HA HA. WHO'S GONNA LET YOU TAKE HIM OUT WHEN WE FINALLY CAUGHT HIM!?' Suddenly, Luffy appears, grabbing the barrel of Spiel's gun with his bare hand: 'FOOO-OOL!!' Spiel is startled: 'GRIP...!!
