Nami arrives and immediately scolds Zoro and Luffy, saying, "YOU'RE LATE... WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?" Zoro, extremely irritated, snaps back, "IT WAS YOU WHO MADE ME FALL DOWN! AND NOW YOU'RE BLAMING ME?!" Nami argues that she was trying to help, but Zoro retorts, "YOU BASTARD! YOU JUST SAID NORTH, YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME WHICH WAY NORTH IS!" Meanwhile, Jango looks at his groaning crew and yells, "HEY! YOU IDIOTS! DON'T TELL ME YOU GUYS ARE FINISHED JUST FROM ONE BLOW FROM THOSE FOOLS?

Luffy notices the pirates are getting back up, saying, "AH! THEY'RE STILL ALIVE! THEY'RE PRETTY TOUGH!" Jango decides to take matters into his own hands to boost his crew's morale and strength. He pulls out his pendulum ring and tells his men, "LISTEN! WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO WASTE HERE! SINCE THE OPPONENT IS STRONG, WE MUST BE STRONGER... COME! LOOK AT MY PENDULUM. AFTER I SAY '1, 2, JANGO' YOU GUYS WILL BECOME STRONGER! YOUR WOUNDS WILL HEAL! AND YOU WILL BECOME MUCH STRONGER THAN BEFORE!!" Nami realizes what he is doing and warns, "IT MUST BE HYPNOTISM! HE'S TRYING TO MAKE THEM THINK THEY'RE STRONGER! THIS IS ABSURD!
