Anne lies on the deck, clutching her wound. The pirate crew mutters, 'IS HE AN IDIOT...!? WHAT HAS HE DONE...!?' Luffy crouches down next to Anne and asks, 'HEY, WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING WHILE YOU'RE BLEEDING?' Anne sits up, yelling angrily, 'I WAS SHOT AND I FELL DOWN!! I WAS ACTING DEAD TO WAIT FOR A CHAN-...' Luffy blinks: 'HMM?' Suddenly, Spiel fires his pistol directly at Luffy's head: '!!!' Anne screams in terror, 'KYAAA!!!

Spiel sneers, 'LEARN YOUR PLACE!!!' Anne covers her eyes, weeping. However, the bullet does not pierce Luffy's head; instead, his rubbery face stretches backward like a slingshot. Luffy grins, 'HMPH!' With a loud snap, 'BYON BYON', his face springs back, launching the bullet right back at Spiel.

The deflected bullet grazes Spiel's hat, leaving him completely dumbfounded: 'WHA-?' Luffy rubs his head, saying, 'AAAH, THAT SCARED ME.' Anne stares in disbelief: 'WHAT JUST HAPPENED...?' The pirate crew panics: 'H-HE BOUNCED BACK THE BULLETS-!!! IS IT BLACK MAGIC!? IS HE A BLACK MAGIC USER LIKE THE CAPTAIN~~~!!?' Enraged, Spiel summons a giant wooden mallet: '!!!! COME OUT HAMMER-!!!
