One Piece Chapter 38, page 7-9: PIRATE FLEET

Kaya looks at the boys in relief. The Usopp Pirates proudly declare, "WE WERE ONLY PRETENDING TO BE HYPNOTIZED!! AS IF WE WOULD FALL FOR THE SAME TRICK TWICE! PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BATTLE PLAN!!" They quickly scatter and hide. Jango recovers, gasping for breath, and realizes both the kids and Kaya have vanished. Furious, he mutters, "DAMN KIDS!! WHERE DID THEY HIDE?! THE GIRL'S GONE TOO... I SHOULD KILL THOSE KIDS FIRST!!

From the trees, the kids coordinate their next move. One of them shouts, "JUMP!" and Tamanegi leaps down from a branch with a shovel to strike Jango. Jango reacts instantly, slashing with his weapon. Tamanegi screams, "UWAAAAAHH..." as he is struck down. Piiman cries out, "TAMANEGI!!" in horror while Kaya and the others watch in shock.

Zoro and Usopp run through the forest, hearing the commotion. Usopp asks, "HEY! DID YOU HEAR THAT?!" Zoro replies, "I HEARD IT! IT WAS THEIR VOICES. THAT WAY! QUICKLY!!" Meanwhile, Jango holds a battered Tamanegi by the collar, sneering, "YOU'VE PLAYED YOUR LITTLE PIRATE GAME TOO FAR... SINCE YOU'RE STUPID ENOUGH TO INTERFERE IN A REAL PIRATE'S BUSINESS, YOU CAN ALL GO TO HELL AND... DIE!! REPENT!!" Jango brutally slams Tamanegi to the ground with a loud "DOGO!!" as Usopp screams, "YOU BASTARD!!!" from afar.
