Usopp gasps in horror, "KAYA!! WHY... WHY ARE YOU HERE?!". Jango is surprised, saying, "OH! ISN'T THAT THE OJOUSAMA OF THE MANSION?! SHE'S THE TARGET OF THE MISSION!!". The other pirates realize, "THEN... WE DON'T HAVE TO GO TO THE VILLAGE?! IF WE CAN JUST KILL HER NOW...". Kuro slowly turns around, adjusting his glasses with the sound effect "SRET...", and says, "YOU SURPRISED ME... OJOUSAMA... WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE...?". Nami, Zoro, Buchi, and Sham watch silently in suspense.

Kaya confronts Kuro, her voice trembling as she says, "MERI TOLD ME EVERYTHING.". Kuro responds indifferently, "...OH? HE DIDN'T DIE? I DIDN'T... SHOW ANY MERCY TO HIM...". Kaya is devastated, tears welling in her eyes as she thinks, "NO...!!! HE REALLY... ISN'T THE CLAHADOR I KNOW...!!". She looks at Usopp and says, "...I'M REALLY SORRY... USOPP-SAN...!! MAYBE YOU CAN'T FORGIVE ME SO EASILY, BUT... I... REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE... THAT CLAHADOR IS A PIRATE!!".
