One Piece Chapter 40, page 9-10: USOPP PIRATE GROUP

Usopp looks at Kaya and asks, "KAYA, IS IT GOING TO BE HARD FOR YOU...?" Kaya smiles warmly and reassures him, "NO!" The scene transitions to the next morning in Syrup Village, with birds chirping in the trees. Inside a house, a man with a mustache and a woman are sitting at a table. The man looks at the clock and gasps, "MY GOSH, YOU'RE RIGHT! HEY!! IT'S ALREADY 7 O'CLOCK!!" The woman says, "I OVERSLEPT!! THAT'S STRANGE, USOPP-KUN DIDN'T COME TODAY". Outside, another woman wonders, "I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO USOPP-KUN", and a man smoking a pipe comments, "FEELS WEIRD... THROWS MY WHOLE SCHEDULE OFF".

In the village, an angry man with a headband holding a broom complains, "IS THAT LYING BRAT NOT HERE YET!?" A woman behind him wonders, "WERE WE A LITTLE TOO HARSH ON HIM YESTERDAY...?" while another woman says, "OH, I'M SURE HE'LL COME TOMORROW". Meanwhile, the mothers of the three kids are scolding them: - Piiman's mother yells, "PIIMAN! HOW COULD YOU GET YOUR CLOTHES DIRTY SO EARLY IN THE MORNING?! GO WASH UP!!" Piiman runs inside, crying, "YE... YES, MOM!!" - Ninjin's mother asks, "NINJIN, HAVE YOU SEEN THE FRYING PAN? I CAN'T MAKE SCRAMBLED EGGS WITHOUT IT..." Ninjin, hiding the pan behind his back, sweats and says, "UH... I, I'LL HAVE THEM UNCOOKED! I LIKE THEM UNCOOKED!" - Tamanegi's mother asks, "DID YOU BREAK YOUR GLASSES AGAIN, TAMANEGI?!" Tamanegi cries, "I'M SO SORRY, MOM!" In the final panel, Usopp stands on a cliff overlooking the village, crying tears of joy and gratitude, whispering, "IT'S ALL THANKS TO YOU! THANK YOU!"
