One Piece Chapter 1, page 35-37: Romance Dawn

The bandit walks up to Shanks and points a pistol directly at his temple with a loud "KLIK". He laughs: "Didn't you hear him?! Don't come any closer......or I'll blow your head off! Ha ha ha ha ha!!" Shanks remains completely calm, his straw hat shadowing his eyes: "You're putting your life on the line by pointing that at me." The bandit is confused: "Huh?! What're you talking about?" Shanks explains: "I'm saying it's not safe to point guns." Suddenly, Lucky Roux steps up and shoots the bandit point-blank in the head with a massive "BOOM!".

The bandit collapses to the ground. The other bandits recoil in shock and anger: "Wha--!! That wasn't fair! What've you done?! Now you've gone and done it!" Benn Beckman steps forward, resting his rifle on his shoulder: "Fair?! Stop whining, land-lubbers! You're not dealing with saints here.

Shanks glares at the bandits, his expression turning incredibly serious: "We're pirates! And we don't play by the rules! Listen up... You can pour drinks on me, you can throw food at me... You can even spit on me. I'll just laugh that stuff off. But... NOBODY HURTS A FRIEND OF MINE!!!! Good reason or not...
