One Piece Chapter 9, page 14-15: Chapter 9: Femme Fatale

Inside an abandoned house, Nami and Luffy sit at a wooden table. Nami asks, "Weird... So you lost your crew at sea? How big is your crew?" Luffy replies simply, "Just one other guy. Is this your house?" Nami explains, "No. My work keeps me on the move. I don't know whose house it is." Luffy looks around and notes, "The town is practically deserted." Nami explains, "Everyone wants to stay as far from the tavern as possible. That's where Buggy and his pirates are. Luffy repeats, "Buggy..." and Nami adds, "...The infamous, cannon-happy buccaneer." Luffy wonders aloud, "Hmmm... Are Nami and his men really that scary?" Nami angrily snaps at him, "I'm Nami! Buggy is the pirate!!! Don't mix me up with him!"

Nami continues to explain Buggy's fearsome reputation: "They say some kids in a village made fun of his nose. Buggy's cannons blew the village to smithereens... And what's more... I've heard that Buggy has mysterious powers." Luffy, ignoring the warning, wonders, "Hmmm... I wonder why there's no one around here..." Nami yells in frustration, "I told you! Everybody ran away 'cause they're scared of Buggy!! Luffy then asks, "Oh! So you're looting the abandoned houses?" Nami angrily slams her hands on the table ("WOMP!!") and shouts, "Of course not! I rob pirates, not villagers!!" She lets out a heavy sigh, rubbing her temples, and grumbles, "I'm not some low-down looter!! You're giving me a headache!" Luffy just laughs cheerfully, saying, "Take it easy! Ha ha ha!"
