Luffy lands back on the deck. Anne, sweating in shock, asks, 'W-WHAT ARE YOU...!?' Luffy grins and stretches his cheeks wide: 'ISN'T IT FUNNY? I TOLD YOU I ATE THE GOMU GOMU FRUIT, RIGHT? I'M A HEAD-TO-TOE RUBBER MAN. IN EXCHANGE FOR BEING A HAMMER FOREVER.' Anne and the remaining pirates scream in unison, 'R-RUBBER MAN!!?

Suddenly, Spiel rises from the wreckage, riding on the back of Balloon, who is flying under his control. Spiel laughs, 'FARE WELL, RUBBER MAN!!!' Anne cries out, 'BAL-LOON!!!' Spiel sneers, 'YOU STRETCH YOURSELF THERE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. YOU DON'T NEED TO CALL ME CAPTAIN. I HAVE NO USE FOR THIS SHIP ANY MORE. I GOT THE TREASURE I WANTED. I WAS DISGRACED A LITTLE AT THE END, BUT I'M GOING TO EXCUSE MYSELF NOW.

Spiel unleashes a powerful blast of black magic, splitting his own ship in half. The vessel begins to sink rapidly into the churning ocean. The crew screams in betrayal, 'CA-CA-CAPTA-AAIN!!! WHY US, TOO!!?' Anne yells, 'BAL-LOON!!!' Luffy, realizing he is about to plunge into the water, panics and screams, 'I'LL DROWN-!!! UWAH, WATER~~~!!!
