Kaya begins writing the will as Jango watches closely, reminding her, "DON'T FORGET TO MARK IT WITH YOUR THUMBPRINT." Nearby, the three kids lie on the ground, pretending to be unconscious. One of them whispers, "If we pretend to stay unconscious, will we live...?" Another replies, "I think so... Kaya-san have saved us..." But they remember Usopp's teachings: "Didn't the captain always say that if you know you're gonna lose, then you must flee?" The third boy tearfully responds, "BUT CAPTAIN IS A LIAR!!! Now, he's bravely fighting alone!!! He was all covered in blood... and still wanted to protect us. We can't let Kaya-san die... We are the Usopp Pirate Group!

Jango holds up the completed document, reading aloud: "'I'm leaving all of my inheritance to my butler, Klahadore.' Good... this is definitely your will. That even saved me time hypnotizing you..." He then begins spinning his pendulum ring (SFX: KURU KURU) and says coldly, "Now, you have to die! If you're still alive... the will's no better than a piece of scrap paper." Kaya gasps in shock, "You promised me, you won't hurt the boys!" Jango grins sinisterly, "Don't worry! I'm a man who keeps his words.
