The Shells Town conflict uses Zoro’s imprisonment and Morgan’s rule to test what kind of people Luffy chooses to trust. The section moves Zoro closer to becoming Luffy’s first crewmate. ### Key dialogue Helmeppo: Captain Morgan's idiot son promised me. Morgan: All I've got to do is survive here for one month. Helmeppo: Hmm... I see. Helmeppo: I don't think I could last one week without food. Helmeppo: So go look for a crew elsewhere.. Helmeppo: Huh? Morgan: Pick that up for me. Morgan: It's more of a dirt ball than a rice ball now... Morgan: "I know you're hungry, but this-- Helmeppo: Shut up! Helmeppo: Just shut up and feed it to me! Helmeppo: Much much much Morgan: I told you. It was mostly dirt. You wanna kill yourself? Helmeppo: Tell her I said it was delicious. Morgan: YEAH! Morgan: I'm so glad! Helmeppo: Could that guy really be as bad as everyone says? Helmeppo: He's NOT a BAD GUY!
