One Piece Chapter 21, page 16-17: VILLAGE

As they sail away from the dock, Nami points to the black sail of one of the boats, saying, "HEY, THAT FLAG HAS BUGGY'S MARK ON IT." Luffy replies, "IT WAS THOSE PIRATES' BOAT SO OF COURSE IT DOES. I'LL ERASE IT LATER." Suddenly, Boodle runs onto the dock, panting heavily, and screams, "STOP RIGHT THERE YOU MORONS!!!" Luffy looks back, surprised, and says, "MISTER CHIEF!" Boodle stands at the edge of the dock, thinking to himself, "IN MY DESPAIR, I CONSIDERED DEATH TO BE NOTHING...!! I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS OKAY FOR ME TO DIE AT THAT TIME...!!

With tears streaming down his face, Boodle shouts at the top of his lungs, "I'M SORRY!! I OWE YOU!!!" Luffy smiles warmly, Zoro smirks while resting, and Nami smiles gently from her boat. Boodle continues to yell, "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE...!! JUST LIVE HAPPY LIVES!!" Luffy waves back cheerfully, shouting, "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!!
